So this weekend my grandaughter came for a visit. She is currently 33 weeks pregnant and we were discussing her preparations for the baby.
She told me she has been looking for a pink cardigan to bring her baby home in. So I offered to make her one. I am repeating this one I made for her cousin's baby.
I made another one as well, but she prefers pink and I can only manage this last one for the moment.
My hands are hurting and I have limited spoons due to fibromyalgia, so this last one will be fully crocheted. It doesn't seem to hurt them as much as knitting at the moment.
Although the new one will be fully crocheted, it will fairly similar... very alike. Same. Same.
Keep clicking and stitching,
Glenys
That is so beautiful and what a treasure for memory sake! My husband's grandmother made one similar for when my oldest daughter when we brought her home from the hospital. It was a light green/lime color. We didn't know the sex, the reason for a neutral color.
ReplyDeleteThis is a priceless gift you made for them!
All the best.

I still have some booties that I wore for my christening, which my adult son also wore for his... it's nice to have these treasures for memories... thanks for commenting today, Debra!
